Today, Jul. 6,2008, families and friends of Kristine gathered at ILLAHEE STATE PARK to celebrate her life. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor memorial. Her best friend Michelle Sivadas wrote this poem.

Life is just a stopping place. A place to rest along side the road. Each of us a different destination Different path before us unfold We are here to learn and then be on our way. For some the journey is short, For some it is quite long. But when it finally ends, May all the roads you've traveled Bring you peace, love, and finally home.
