I Love watching these palitaw float in boiling water. We call this PALITAW LULUBOG LILITAW…they are very good, glutinous and very good with cheese and hot tea. Yes, the cheese and palitaw make a perfect combination.
PALITAW – Glutinous Rice tiny Tongue dessert
2 CUPS MICHIKO FLOUR
1 CUP WATER
1 CUP GRATED COCONUT
1 CUP SUGAR
¼ CUP SESAME SEEDS
IN A BOWL PUT THE FLOUR IN WATER AND MIX. FORM THE DOUGH INTO SMALL BALLS AND FLATTEN WITH FINGERS TO FORM TONGUES. DROP IN BOILING WATER. WHEN THEY FLOAT SKIM AND DROP IN COLD WATER. DRAIN AND ROLL IN THE MIXTURE OF COCONUT, SESAME SEEDS AND SUGAR. SERVE COLD .
