I am always thinking of how I can present my cooking in a unique way.  We have always used the clay pots for cooking  back in the olden days, and I still see them around, so why not use the clay pots.A very unique way of presenting a bread is not from the usual loaves container but  the clay planter.

Cooking time is longer than the usual bake ware.

BANANA BREAD IN A CLAY PLANTER

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
 5 overripe bananas, mashed
1 small can of crushed pineapple

Preheat oven to 350 degreesF. Spray PAM around the inside of the planter.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and baking powder.  In a separate bowl, cream the butter and add sugar. Add the bananas, and the pineapple. Add this mix with the flour mix.  It will be lumpy but that is the desired consistency.  Pour the mix into the planter and bake for 45 minutes. Present the bread in the planter, it will be a conversation piece.  Let cool before cutting into small servings.

I just baked this Banana Bread while making Ice Cream. I love to make a statement, so I always give this bread for TAKE HOME when I have company, or the ANITA'S GOURMET VINEGAR.

350 DEGREES, FOR 45 MINUTES.
